The Netherlands posted a score of 181 in their 20 overs. Teja Nidamanuru was the top scorer, with 48 runs off 24 balls, including 3 fours and 3 sixes. Youngster Michael Levitt scored 39 from 24 balls, with 2 fours and 3 sixes. Dilsan Madushanka took 2 wickets, while Dunith, Kamindu, and Nuwan Thushara each took one wicket.
In reply, Sri Lanka was all out for 161 with 3 balls to spare. The Sri Lankan top order collapsed against the Netherlands spinners. Wanindu scored 39 from just 12 balls, hitting 5 consecutive sixes against Max O’Dowd. Dasun remained not out with 35 from 17 deliveries, and Dhananjaya de Silva scored 36 off 20 balls.
Sri Lanka will face their second warm-up game on the 31st against Ireland at the same venue.
